As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Octavus Petroleum, and by extension the Octavus Group, Toba embodies the stature and the grit inherent within the business. His over fifteen years of leadership in oil & gas, commodity and marine sectors, has been instrumental in Octavus’ strategic yet vivacious growth. As CEO, he directs both strategic vision and day-to-day operations, propelling and entrenching Octavus into an integrated energy powerhouse. In addition this, he takes direct functional responsibility for the Trading and Marine SBUs, delivering a massive level of revenue per capita not seen or known within the industry.
Through his MBA in Shipping and Logistics (with Distinction) and a B.SC in Civil & Environmental Engineering degree, Toba blends knowledge, competencies, expertise, best practices together with his progressive work experience. His professional and leadership experiences include roles such as COO at Raven Energy and Honeywell Oil and Gas, and Head of Chartering and Shipping at Linetrale

Founder/CEO
Peter, a highly qualified Mechanical Engineer and seasoned Aviation Fuel Expert, holds one of the most revered track-record in the Aviation Fueling Sector within and outside Nigeria. As the General Manager at Octavus Petroleum, he brings over 20 years of professional experience (including 13 years in the Oil and Gas Industry) to bear. Aside his specific responsbibility for aviation activities, Peter oversees and ensure performance in operations, quality, and safety.
His extensive professional and technical capabilities have been built upon his BSc in Mechanical Engineering, and being a COREN registered Engineer in Nigeria, while also being Corporate Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE). Career-wiser, Peter has meritriouly worked with African Petroleum Plc and MRS Oil Nigeria Plc, managing aviation operations across Nigeria and West Africa at both instances.
Peter’s expertise is evidenced in him being a resource person and a trainer recognised within IATA and JIG. In assurring the successes of Octavus, Peter will continue to deploy his wider range of competencies and capabilities in Commercial Operations, Depot&Equipment Operations/Maintenance, Budgeting (CAPEX/OPEX), Project Management and Staff Training/Capacity Development.
General Manager
Omorinade is an accomplished professional with over 13 years of experience, who has over the years seamlessly blended her engineering background with progressive business competencies leading to here establishing a track-record of performance and excellence. Working in both UK and Nigeria, her professional portfolio includes and covers: Commercial Operations, Business Development, Retail Management, Engineering Support & Management, Consulting, Procurement, Sales & Marketing, Maintenance Operations, and Project Management.
She holds a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Nottingham and an M.Sc in Biochemical Engineering from UCL. The foregoing together with her growing competencies has allowed Omorinade to employ an analytic and result-oriented approach. She is a certified ISO Auditor and a qualified Super SAP User, while being proficient in engineering simulation packages.
At Octavus, Omorinade oversees strategic and operational responsibilities, focusing on continual growth, and leads the International Airlines Business, Corporate Communications and other key projects. Her work also extend to Customer Relationship Management, Business Development, Commercial Development, and Receivables Management.
Commercial & Corporate Services Manager
Holding over 16 years of robust experience in aviation fueling sector, Obinna stands out as a very knowledgeable verteran in the aviation industry. His illustrious career has spanned critical areas such as depot operations, technical support, fueling operations, business management, and commercial ventures.
Notably, he contributed significantly during his tenure at Total Nigeria PLC for over 4 years and subsequently spent a rewarding decade at MRS Oil Nigeria PLC, excelling in aviation operations, business management, sales, and marketing.
As the Sales & Into Plane Manager at Octavus, Obinna leverages his extensive expertise, rapidly expanding the aviation business clientele and driving commercial performance. With a degree in Accounting and profound analytical acumen, Obinna remains a pivotal contributor, ensuring Octavus Petroleum’s continued success in the petroleum industry for many years to come.
Sales & Into-Plane Manager
Paul is a seasoned professional in the petroleum industry, boasting of a proven track record marked by consistent delivery of results in diverse conditions. With valuable experience in product distribution, supply, haulage, and depot operations, he has excelled at renowned organizations such as PPMC (a subsidiary of NNPC) and Petrocam Trading Nigeria Limited.
Currently overseeing depot operations and logistics planning at Octavus, Paul leverages his cross functional knowledge in shipping and chartering to enhance operational excellence. Known as a go-getter, his contributions have made a significant and pivotal difference in every role, consistently leading to better outcomes for Octavus.
Depot Operations Manager
Being an highly proficient operations and supply chain professional, Richard has amassed a resilient 19-year career marked by expertise in end-to-end supply chain processes. His handson approach excels in planning, scheduling, inventory control, and logistics, ensuring flawless execution of structured supply chain activities. Holding academic qualifications in Accounting and Transport Studies, along with Diplomas from CILT, UK, Richard’s foundation is robust and well-versed.
Richard’s capabilities span fleet management, task and policy formulation, cost management, regulatory compliance, and asset management. With a stellar track record at DHL, TSL, Millennium Air, TAK Logistics, MDS Logistics, and Imperial Logistics, Richard leads Octavus’ supply chain operations and logistics, driving success through planning, fleet operations, process improvement, change management, strategic initiatives, technology solutions, and project management.
Operations & Supply Chain Manager
As a dedicated finance professional with two decades of experience in the petroleum industry, Musa has honed expertise in finance and accounting operations. His comprehensive skill set spans tax, asset management, budgeting, IFRS/GAAP, CAPEX, inventory control, and accounting records management.
Musa’s impactful journey includes seven years at OANDO PLC, focusing on aviation accounting operations, and over nine years at MRS Oil Nigeria PLC, contributing to roles in aviation accounting, cost analysis, inventory management, tax compliance, and asset reporting.
